TRAVEL
LODGING
We have a few suggestions for hotels, listed below; local Airbnbs are also available.
We strongly recommend booking as soon as possible, as hotel space near Lyme is limited and will fill up quickly since Dartmouth College reunions are happening the same weekend.
Dowds' Country Inn
9 Main Street
Lyme, New Hampshire
603-795-4712
A great and convenient option located in the center of Lyme (one mile from Loch Lyme Lodge), Dowds’ is a lovely, family-run inn with reasonably priced rooms. It is too small to offer room blocks, but we encourage you to consider booking on your own.
Lyme Inn
1 Market Street
Lyme, New Hampshire
603-795-4824
Another small, boutique option that does not offer blocks, this is a beautiful and luxurious inn also conveniently located in the center of Lyme, one mile from Loch Lyme Lodge.
Courtyard by Marriott Hanover Lebanon

Lebanon, New Hampshire 03766
603-643-5600
Located about a 25 minute drive from Loch Lyme Lodge, this Marriott has secured a limited number of rooms for our guests at a rate of $279/night plus taxes/fees. Book between July 2, 2026 and May 12, 2027 to confirm a room at this rate.

TRANSPORTATION
For those traveling long distances, the closest large airport is Boston Logan. Loch Lyme Lodge is about a 2.5 hour drive from Boston.
If you are flying from closer locations, another option is the Manchester, NH airport, which is about a 1.5 hour drive from Loch Lyme Lodge and offers convenient flights from certain cities including Philadelphia and DC.
The best way to reach Loch Lyme Lodge is by car. If you are not driving from home, we recommend renting a car once you arrive locally. Free parking is available on-site at Loch Lyme Lodge. Rideshare apps such as Uber/Lyft and taxi services are not reliably available around Lyme.
travel notes
Lyme is a small and rustic town – we love it very much, but please know that not all amenities are readily available. We recommend packing anything you expect to need for the weekend.
For anything you forget, the Lyme Country Store in the center of Lyme is an old-fashioned general store that carries most (not all) necessities. It is open daily from 6AM to 6PM.
Food and other delivery apps are not reliable around Lyme.
Hanover, NH (about a 20 minute drive from Loch Lyme Lodge) and Lebanon, NH (about a 25 minute drive from Loch Lyme Lodge) are larger towns where you can find familiar chains such as CVS, Walmart, and grocery and dining options that stay open later.
Note also that cell phone service is poor in the center of Lyme, though better at Loch Lyme Lodge itself and in Hanover and Lebanon. Consider downloading a map in advance to avoid getting lost.
shuttle schedule
We will provide shuttle service to and from Dowds’ Country Inn, Lyme Inn, Courtyard by Marriott Hanover Lebanon, and Hilton Garden Inn Hanover Lebanon for the Friday night dinner and the wedding on Saturday. We will provide specific details about timing on this page closer to the date.
REGISTRY
We are very lucky to have everything we need for our home.
Since we know our wedding requires travel for everyone, we hope you will join us without feeling any obligation or desire to bring a gift. Please show us your love by coming to New Hampshire for a weekend in the woods instead!
If we can’t convince you that we (really! truly!) prefer not to receive gifts, please feel free to make a small contribution to one of the organizations close to our hearts listed below, or to another cause meaningful to you. We’ve created the funds linked below for convenience and will donate proceeds to the corresponding organizations.
Friends of New Haven Academy
The school where Nikki used to teach! A wonderful Juneteenth option as its dedicated and talented staff empower students of color to achieve self-determination.
Greenfield Minor League Baseball
An important part of Matt’s childhood. Little League nourished his special lifelong bonds with dad, grandpa, and baseball and continues to teach sportsmanship and teamwork to local youth today.
East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership
A free clinic for underserved East Harlem populations run by Mount Sinai students, where Nikki volunteered during medical school. Truly spectacular wrap-around primary care, specialty, and social services offered here.
Dolphin Research Center
Home of many super cute dolphins with whom we’ve enjoyed swimming several times. Always impressed by the quality of care and science rendered at this marine biology center and sanctuary.
